    WW2 British Para beret

Hi guys, I would like to share with you my tan lined Kangol British Para beret…. With a nice surprise!

This was definitely worn by a Glider Pilot. The manufacturer and date stamp is not visible naked eye so I did the wet test, the date is 1945. It has a few moth nips and definitely saw action. The beret came without a badge so I added one that I feel matches the condition nicely.

    Enjoy!

                        Well done

I still think these berets are the most iconic piece of cloth headgear. I have a one with the AAC ghost image when the badge is removed, been there for years and years. Yours is more salty than mine but I love them like yours.
                        Very nice beret indeed
                        Regards,Ivan

ive never heard of the water test before to look for markings. do you use chemicals or is that normal water?

Just use normal water and spray it on with a plant sprayer.

                            Cheers, Ade.

                            PS: Nice beret!
