    Chinstrap on Canadian WW2 Helmet

I've had this Canadian helmet for sometime now and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the chinstrap? Is this an earlier or later variation or correct at all?

The strap itself is marked with the broad arrow inside the C and the helmet is made by GSW and dated 1941 if that helps.

    Best,
    Erich

Hmm Mark I and II are almost identical and that is one of those. Mark II had brass loops that were narrower and shorter than Mark I so I am going with this being a Mark II.

That's typical for a late war helmet so I wouldn't be too concerned about it.

Thanks. What year did this type of buckle come in to use?
