Be careful , because they make copies. A good one is probably worth £2000+

I believe Steve Kiddle ( Pegasus militaria) makes good copies ( legit )

They no longer feature on his web site. They were available for quite a while and were very good copies. A faker only needed to change the hardware and label to make a handsome profit. Many have had years of wear by re-enactors and can look very convincing to a new collector.

Does anyone here have a PM/Kiddle copy ?

I am quite jealous, I reenact a British Airborne unit and was salivating over it the entire weekend.

They both were indeed in great condition. I am guessing the helmet you are looking at 500-700$.

A mint fibre-rim will fetch considerably more than $500-700.

                          step in

                          Hi owen
, I was quite lucky to have owned a unissued step in smock and i posted pictures etc on this forum a few years ago . sadly i had to sell it due to divorce but it was worth alot back then compared to the denison but no one wanted to pay big money and it went for £1250 only £250 more than the 1st patterns were fetching at the time but the price of denisons are coming down now due to the climate but the step in is the holy grail to have so prices may vary due to demand and if any one has the money to part with , so basically there is no set price only what someone is willing to pay
                          hope this helps
                          andy
