Commando beret

Hi guys I just wanted to share with you my WW2 Royal Marine officer Commando beret.
This Kangol beret is nicely marked 1943, it also has a very faint w/d stamp next to vents. The two-piece officer badge appears to have been with the beret its entire life.

Text book

That is a lovely text book example with a very nice 2 piece badge. It would grace any military milinary collection.
