SAS Cap Badge

This is an SA cap badge I bought approx 20 years ago.

Any chance it could be original?

Looks very like a badge I bought from JR Gaunt's or Firmin's shop during the late 1960's. I say I bought it, I was in the shop with family & my father bought it for me.
Originally with a bronzed coating which rubbed off very easily.
Sorry, have'nt got my notes to hand, but it does look very much like the badge I got.
