    RAF female Hat question

Can somebody tell me how this Hat was called and in what Period it was worn?
I also have the modern No1.SD Caps and also some of the one shown. The Cap has a sewn on Cap Badge of a smaller size like the "normal" ones.

    It's a WRAF-issue stewardess/hostess hat.
    Circa 1960-ish

Standard pattern WRAF OR's hat worn from the '60s until replacement in the early 1990s with the current 'trilby' type with bullion-style capbadge instead of the small staybrite pictured. This pattern was not worn by female medical/dental staff, who had their own distinct 'bowler' style hat.
