WW1 British Officer Cap?

I'd appreciate opinions on this one chaps, it's out of my area and coming up in a local auction shortly. Any ideas on the going rate for these would be appreciated also.

It is the only pic I have I'm afraid.

Well, it looks like it could be of the WWI era, but one photo is not much to go on. No cap badge?

Well going by the chin strap it is not an officers cap, instead it is an Ordinary Ranks Service Dress Cap.

Without a hands on inspection or a lot more better photos, I can only speculate that it is possibly WW1 period.
