WW2 Era Posters

Does anyone know the best tell-tale signs to signify if a poster is from the original wartime era or a copy/fake?

Smell

Of all the things fakers do,they just can't get the smell of old paper/card right,if it looks old but doesn't smell old then it isn't. I'm not a collector of posters so don't know of marks used etc but someone will. I do know originals command a high price.

I would add that the paper tends to be very thin. And I support the 'age' smell also.

Black-light is good sometimes.

As well the paper tends to be poor quality for some.
