British MKII Beach Group Helmet opinions needed

Hopefully some here can offer opinions on this helmet. It is marked RO & CO AS 1942. I can't find any name or dates on the liner. Any help would be appreciated. I can take other pictures if needed. Thank you, Ron

Last ones. The liner is very dirty and gritty when folded open including the inner cloth band.

I am afraid that the helmet is fake. The liner is a post war Dutch, and I don't like the colour and the damages on the paint.

Greetings Ron: Sorry... I agree with Dennis. The green shell was the instant giveaway followed by the rest.
