    Air Crew Europe...FINALLY!

    I was finally able to dredge one up from the woodwork. It took me 9 years of solid looking!

                          Hi Bill,

                          Not stupid at all! they are called Ops Clasps (award for completion of one tour of Operations) and were awarded by the Canadians only (this one is made by BIRKS) as far as I can remember. I have seen a clasp with 5 bars so there were several aircrew who were on ops throughout the war.

                              5 bars??? wow I'd like to see that, the most I've seen is three bars, denoting four tours.
