I don't believe so.... at least not the wings.

The wings have a large yellow maple leaf which is normally an indicator of a pair of post war wings. Now, that being said, these wings are very tricky and there are lots of variations so I'm interested in what others have to say.

The wings don't look good to me. IMHO they are also artificially aged, brown durt on top and not into the seams, suspicious...

The Pegasus patch is a common replica.

The shoulder titles are post-war copies as well. Obviously a BD that was put together.

You just confirmed what I was thinking but I didn't want to say anything since it was only a gut feeling..... The title looks to have a real odd color.

Thanks for the comments.I suspected as much being Airborne

I thought the para wing might have a chance.

This one just sold on estand for 60pd ,described as pre 45

Like I mentioned, these are very tricky. The wings that you are comparing yours to have some subtle differences including the tips of the wings being less pointed and the shape of the leaf is also a bit different.

The other set of wings that sold with the one's you are comparing are classic WW2 British manufacture and are a bit easier to verify. I have to admit that being able to see your wings from a different angle in addition to the reverse it makes me second guess myself..... it seems the more I learn the more confused I get

                    Wings

The wings ON THE UNIFORM are good only from the late 40's/50's. The only version of that shoulder title EVER worn by the battalion have a mesh backing cloth and the letters are sewn clean through. The mesh can be tan or grey in colour. The wool is thick and cant be seen through. The starch ( glue ) back examples are repro's, the canvas embroidered types are repros and the black backed examples are repros. The top two badges are tricky and have wartime as well as immediate post war traits. My gut feeling on those is late 45 to early 50's. While they look like a type commonly seen at Shilo towards the end of the war , they do not match exactly. They are either 1945 period variants or post war. They are NOT earlier than 1945.
