    padded raf wing and?

    Hello there,

I found these in a small collection I bought and wonder iff they are of ww2 date.
I went through 8 pages of older threads to see iff I could find something to compare but just found that the padded raf wings seem to be private purchased?

The moths seemed to like them......

    Any help is welcome!

    All the best, Eric

The parachute wings are post-war German Bundeswehr, though I don't know from what specific decade.

      Hope this helps...

          Hello Geoff,

That´s fast! Thanks for the info on the top wing.

Could the RAF wing be of ww2 date?

I can identify jump wings no problem, but I'm no expert on flight brevets. They certainly LOOK like WW2 RAF wings, King's crown and all that, but hopefully someone else will be able to tell you if they're the genuine article or not.

              Hi,

RAF wings look like a modern reprocduction to me.

              Thanks from Jack.

                Hello Geoff,

I´m that simple that I thought the RAF badge would be a " wing " to....

I´ve got a lot to learn......

Thanks a lot for your input!

                  Hi Jack,

Thanks for your reply, I thought it looked old with the mothholes but as shown above.......I have no knowledge about these ( badges... and how to tell when the moths had their meal)

                    Hi Eric,

It is hard for me to explain why the wings are reproduction without actually talking to you, but here is an excellent website on them and hopefully if you look through you should be able to recognise a wartime one the next time you see one

                    Thanks from Jack.

I'm in agreement with Jack. The wings are undoubtedly reproductions.
