SAS Veteran's Badge - But What?

    Hi Team,
Unsure if this is the right area to post this query - moderators - please feel free to move it to the correct section?
I've been in touch with an ex-SAS member who served in Palastine and retains all his uniform/kit etc - right down to his 1st pattern Dennison smock (nice story behind that one but not relevant here).
When serving in the Artist Rifles in 1947 he picked up this badge in a pub (somewhere) and has asked me 'What is it?'
    French SAS??
Here's a few images plus a bonus of the Dennison.
All help will be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Mark

This badge was made in Paris and "qui ose gagne" means who dares wins, so yes it most probably belonged to a French SAS.

The S.A.S. wing on the dennison looks like a nice late WW2 example!
        Great wing.....

Might it be Belgian SAS? I assume that their badges would be in French and/or Flemish and might have been made in France after the war. I did a quick look on a reenactor site but couldn't see anything that seemed to match. Here's where I looked: http://www.paratrooper.fr/en/pages/catalogue.aspx?cf=27

The French Guy's we had also in Berlin. They served with the Potsdam Mission, the Military Liaison Mission to the Soviets.

Its an early version of the 1st RPIMA (Marine, or former Colonial, Parachute regt) pocket badge

During the Indochina epoch they were the Half Brigade Airborne SAS, from which time I think this dage dates... then it became the badge of the 1st RPIMA and a "1" was added to the parachte.

Theay are largely special forces and took over the traditions of the WW2 French SAS
