Opinions needed on what appears to be a 2nd Pattern FS Knife

I would be grateful for opinions on what might be a 2nd Pattern FS Knife. I attach some pics.

Its a nickel plated second pattern, looks like miss stamped /|\56, which these particular daggers nomally are, There often refered to as officers daggers but there is no evidence to prove this. Its a bit rough worth less than £300 retail.

What you have to remember is that the nichol 2nd patterns are a bit harder to find than the normal 2nd pattern ones. Looks an ok been there piece.

Thanks Neil and Ivan. I could not get to the auction and put it on the forum a bit late, so I let it go. It was estimated at £200-£300, and would cost substantially more when fees were added. I have not yet netted a 1st or 2nd pattern Ivan, they seem to be eluding me at the moment. I have purchased a third pattern which seems to have a hand forged blade and an odd coloured handle and am waiting for it to be delivered at the moment. I will post it when I get it.
