Mysterious canvas bag

Hello,
I found this small bag made from canvas, which is in my opinion British ( press stud is Newey). Anyone knows what was this bag used for?

Very strange indeed... It looks some what similar to a officers valise or a signals satchel but its definately not either of those. What material is it made out of looks like canvas? what does the inside look like?

I'm almost positive it's an ancillaries bag for a radio set.

I've got an 18 set with a very similar bag. The bag usually hold the morse key, headphones and radio.

It looks very similar to the Aircraft First aid Kit bag, what are the dimensions, are there any pockets/loops inside

I was thinking the same Lee, the one I have though has a webbing strap, so not sure if this a variation or a later alteration.
