I was wandering through a local antique shop, yes the one I never go into. I enjoy large wooden furniture and a variety of pricey knicknacks as much as the next guy...and then out of the corner of my eye, balled up in a box at the end of a dark corridor is (duh duh duh) an RAF kitbag in all of its glory. I am no holding a 1943 dated kitbag, fully stenciled and complete with a single stripe around its lovely cotton duck waist. It is a textbook beauty.
BUT I STAY CALM
Looking around in the box on the floor I spy a second bag, and as I pull it into the light...it is another RAF kitbag, but this one has TWO stripes around its equally shapely waist. It is around this point I notice that both bags are named to the same bloke, Cpl. Duckett, F.E.!
Yes I have just scored both of Cpl. Duckett's kitbags!
Now does anyone know how to go about pulling service information from his number? I want to learn as much as I can about this fellow.
