Hi Glenn, you are correct. But I should add that they were for service, not just overseas service.

Here is my Uncle, Hugh Howard RAMC wearing his service chevons. He served at Dunkirk. Photo taken March 30th 1945. Note too the US made BD blouse.

Hi Guys, thank you for the kind comments. Sadly, Hugh passed away some years ago. Here is a short thread about him. Funny that you say I look like him, as that has been said before, but there is no blood line as he was my Aunt's (Dad's sister) husband.
