POW Coins

Hey guys,
I am being offered these coins from a family The one side says POW and the other says 100. Are these coins currency used by POWs in the camps? Are they even miltary? I have never seen anything like it and wanted to put it up here and see if anyone else had.

That could be Money Issued to german POWs in Canada, Heard it is out there but I have never seen it, I know they had script (notes) but not coins,

Better pics are needed does it just say POW on it or does it have some sort of denomination on it?

I was thinking the same thing about German POWs here. The seller says there is numbers on the back 100 on one of them. I have made a offer and will see if I can get them, then post some high res images for better discussion.
