    Belgium nationality shoulder insignia UK

I have a question regarding Belgian troops in exile (UK) shoulder insignia.

Here is a version with a red border as per the regulations which I am considering to buy from a fellow WAF member.

Here's an ebay offer described as follows:
Original WW2 embroidered (unissued-uncut) shoulder titles for the Belgian Army. These are Belgian made emb in off-white on khaki, of the type worn from May 1945 within Belgium, prior to that the titles were red on khaki. These were issued to the 'new' troops being called up in liberated Belgium, and would have been worn alongside the red ones of the Belgian troops from the UK.
      SO AGAIN WITH BORDER...

        Here's my question!

I recently acquired this Belgium forces in UK nationality scroll...
Note...no red border???? Earlier type? fake?
        Thoughts?

          Hi Nick,

It's original but the type worn by Belgian members of the ATS/WAAF.

Thanks OK so female service than!
I would like to get your embroidered red one (with red border!)
            Keep me posted!
            Thanks

Researching this further it appears that these "female pattern" unbordered BELGIUM nationality sleeve titles,
intended for Belgian ATS women in the UK, might have also ended up in male service.
(as only a couple of dozen Belgian women served in exile in the UK I read on the web... so perhaps many were available?)

This is a close up of an image showing an "unframed" red BELGIUM title worn by an officer is the "Brigade Piron" in 1944.
              Thoughts?

That's correct, this female pattern was also used by male personnel. I have seen it before on original uniforms.

                    Thanks Dennis. Good info...
Also thanks for confirming my suspicions Rogerd (mixed use)!

So a Belgian officer serving perhaps as an I.O. (intelligence officer)
in the 21st Army Group Headquarters (counter intelligence) would wear such an unbordered title.
That's the impression I'm after (uniform recreation)!
White titles would be for troops joining after the liberation of Belgium and red titles
for exiled troops from the UK which is an honor badge for them!
