trench periscope

hello together,

i look for a original british wooden WW1 trench periscope, who can tell me where can i buy such periscope? are this periscopes expensive?

Not 100% but I think most of these where local made at least early in the war. Some pics I have seen they look like they where made out of any odd scrap of wood they had lying about. All it took was two good mirrors. I sure as the war went on there where mil spec versions most likely taken from ones used at race-tracks etc.

So long story short I would just make one it if was for a diorama as it would not be out of place.

Yes, there were many custom made periscopes for officers but also many issue devices. These can be found on both the UK and US auctions sites now and again. I have even seen them appear sometimes in Germany - you just need to look carefully.
