Faked F-S knives on ebay!

Be aware of this type of fake Fairbairn-Sykes Commando knives on ebay! There are 2 such fakes on ebay now!

Here is another such fake in detail. Note the pressed logotype without "-" in F-S!

These would not fool an experienced collector Olof, but could easily for someone new to the hobby. With so much data and information available it is only a matter of time before fakes appear on the market that will be very difficult to detect! Regards, Clive.

So much info on these and reasonably easy to research,the blade logo and rubbish knurling is a giveaway.

Am I correct neither knife shows the Wilkinson logo?

As far as I am aware Luc these fake knives do not have the Wilkinson Sword etching, but it would not surprise me if some do

Gentlemen,
They have a deep etching,which we know is incorrect and the - is missing from the logo.To me the knurling was poor quality and the handle was a poor representation. Have a look at the link on my previous post and I'm sure you will see what I mean.

You can find these fakes with a Wilkinson stamping but with wrong spelling.
