D-day map Sword Beach

Opinions are sought on this d-day map thanks...I am sure its ok but other opinions are sought.

The map shows defences at Quistreham France. On the map stays the following: "This map will not be carried in operational aircraft." and "TOP SECRET until issued for briefing ground troops; thereafter SECRET".
also "information as at May 44".

This map is from a 47 Royal Marine Commando veteran. He was part of the D-Day landings.

He was also involved at the landing at Walcheren on 1st November 1944. This map contains information as at May 1944. On June 6 it was D-Day!!

Hello Robs,
That 's a pretty rare defence overprint especially with the story this unit has been marched through mine village in the november days of 1944 so i'm curious which man has been used this map. Can i get his name?

This map came years ago from Captain Peter Winter of 47 Royal Marine Commando. At the D-day battles Winter was not a captain yet.

He was a Lt. He was promoted in the field to captain at the battle of Walcheren. You can read about this in the book "From Omaha to the Scheldt, the story of 47 Royal Marine Commando" by John Forfar.
