im in the process of buying this ARP beret, i was just wondering if its a good one or not?

any comments welcome

It's a good "beret, knitted, unlined". I haven't got a clue what 68A stands for, obvisouly not a size but I've seen it on other ARP berets from Beret Industries Ltd too.

Maybe the ID of the ARP Inspector like the WaA Stamps?

68 A is the catalogue number of the item of uniform.

For example,berets were 68 A,tunics were 25 A etc.

thanks for all the comments, i'll take some photos when it arrives

would this cap of had a silver ARP badge attached to it? (i got it for just under £30, i take it thats not a bad price?)
