Hello forum friends.
I am being offered this SAS Beret by a local dealer, and I am wondering it's country of origin. My first thought was New Zealand.
It is slightly darker in colour than normal, has a very fine felt and a black cotton lining. The lining has a card type badge backing sewn in, with a metal eyelet through the card. It has a European type size marking and plastic name holder.
The badge is hand sewn to the beret and is a bullion Officers type.
Has anyone seen a similar beret before?
Thanks in advance,
Regards Graham.
