What kind of hat is this?

I have a hat that has me stumped. Is it Commonwealth related or maybe made for the Imperial Russians? It was suggested I try here as the size mark is very likely English. Thank you for any help.

It seems to have had one large or possibly two small badges on it and if it a correct cap I would like to have an idea of what I should put as a replacement.

I am pretty sure I have seen a similar cap posted on this forum.
From memory, the cap was a WW2 Australian drivers cap.

Looks Like a WW1 Czarist Russian Cap

The Tsarist era one is Very similar, the bill is a different material and cut but quite close. There looks to have been a badge/pin in the top front so I wonder if there might have been some sort of regimental insignia above the cockade?
The woman's cap is also something I will have to research more.
