    WWI or WWII Tam

    Hi guys,
I am pretty sure this Tam is WWII but I want to make sure. It's British, hence my uncertainty.
Can anyone confirm this for me?

I would say WWII, as it is what I have understood to be a later variant with continuous headband. Earlier ones were, to my knowledge, a split headband with eyelets for the wool tape to adjust and tie to shape.

I think the WWI ones have a larger crown too. Have to check this with my WWI BW.

          Bonjour,

I follow the other fellow members assessment.
The reception mark is as for myself the post WWI type : it has a letter (date code) on the top of the arrow and a group of figures at the base. For WWI stuff, I noticed marks are inverted. However, I'm far from sure that the letter for WWI equipments means the date.

          Cheers

          Valery
