Australian WW1 Digger info needed - THX!

Hi guys, Can anyone help me with any information on this huge period framed Australian digger photograph please. He's wearing a smooth peaked driver's cap?, Rising Sun badges, side buckled leather boots, leather riding crop (light horse?), 5 button service jacket - pics taken close so you can see. I've found out that the photographer (Fegan) operated a photography studio in Brisbane 1895 onwards and opened one in Gympie c1905 so this gentleman is most likely a Queenslander. Can anyone help me with a closer date than c1910 judging by his uniform and possible rank or unit or anything?
    Many thanks
    Marcus

      Army Service Corps

Likely AASC. My greatgrandfather was AASC in WW1. I have a picture in the same setup. Also it is not a drivers cap, rather it was a service cap, more widespread worn that the slouch hat, despite popular history
