    british helmet WW2 or post-war ?

    Hi
    this hemet is dated 1942
    but what about the unit painting and 68 ? not sure it's a WW2 one

    Hi Didier,
    Well it looks like it's been on there a long time The white spear over red is the 1st Corps, the 68 looks like a typical number that they used on there vehicles. I'm sure there will be someone here who will give you more info, I would love to have such a helmet

      Corps vehicles attached to Casualty Clearing Stations in NWE had the number 68 on a black square, maybe a connection
