    Here is why painting was a bad idea. The one on the left hasn't been used. The two on the right have served their country well. Ade is lucky to have a used one in such superb condition.

        Hi Leigh, 46th (North Midland) Div is the single tree, as worn by my Uncle who was in the RAMC.

        The one illustrated is for 12th Corps. The "Oak, Ash & Thorn" was a Rudyard Kipling quote about Sussex and sign was adopted as the Corps was Sussex raised

          Ta, knew they linked in with each other could'nt place them. I had some strange idea that they were 46th & 49th Div, rather than 46th Div & 12 Corps.
