    2/11th Regimental Drum, 1873

I've been a member of the forum for some time now, usually just have time to look. Well now I have time to post, so may as well jump right in.
I have always wanted to add a decent Regimental Drum to my collection, and this one was the right time, right price.

I'm figuring by the Battle Honours Listed, and the Date/Markings of this drum, it may be the 2nd Battn / 11th Regt of Foot (Devonshire) Bloody 11th, etc.

Dettingen, Salamanca, Nivelle, Orthes, Pyrenees, Toulouse, Penninsula, Afghanistan ...not noting the period spelling errors

    Brass Body, Engraved: 2 Bn 11 I. Co y 1873
Maker: Henry Potter 30 Charing Cross London

The edges of the painted panel are flanked on both sides by Green stripes

Will post more pics as time allows. Will leave it open from here... for your thoughts, ideas, etc. Thank you

That is a very nice piece, Darin! Looks to be in good shape too, for the age of it.

Yes, for 137 years, it is in good order.
