Polish battle dress

Can anyone give me some information on this BD. I have had this for about 15 years and I have never looked into what it is. It is an early pattern British made blouse, badged to a Polish tank corps, but which one and what did they do?

The tunic is definitely Polish mounted / armoured troops. The dark blue shoulder stripe could be either infantry or cavalry and the single stripe indicates a lance corporal, but the 'pennon' on the collar is the mark of mounted troops: cavalry, mounted rifles, mounted signals, pioneers etc.

Unfortunately, my source on WWII Polish uniforms [Army Badges and Indignia of World War 2 by Guido Rosignoli] doesn't show any pennon with two shades of blue like this example among the 27 cavalry regiments or 10 mounted rifle units. A bit of a mystery!

Thanks Peter. It might be the picture but the pennons are black ontop of green.

Hi. Looks like 1st Polish Armoured Div but sleeve badge is missing, I think that black/green pennons on the collar are for 1st Motorised Artillery Regt
