British Mission to Greece?

Hello guys,
I'm familiar with the British Mission to Greece patch with the Greek colors and Crown on a leather tab but not this one. A friend of mine just picked this up in a lot. I've never seen one but that doesn't make it rare. Any ideas appreciated.

Hi there Garth-
This particular patch has nothing to do with the British mission to Greece. The lettering at the bottom of the patch is probably Russian. I cannot vouch it is Russian, but one thing is certain: it is not Greek. All the best

At a guess, the cyrilic lettering says "British Mission" Is it a bit too far fetched for this to be WWII Brit Mission to Yugoslavia? I'm using my usual translation technique - matching up the letters from memory with beer bottle labels etc.......

That is in fact Russian.
It says British mission.
