    Ribbon bar help needed.

Hi Guys, can anyone id the black and white ribbon please? I recognise the Coronation ribbon. It is on an ATS Officers service dress jacket. I know the ladies identity, but I do not wish to disclose this yet as we are doing a deal. I can add that the lady was a Countess.

    Cheers, Ade.

Ade, I believe it's the ribbon for the Order of the League of Mercy. I referenced this from Megan Robertson's site: Ribbon Chart

It appears that her US Bronze Star is in the Supplement to the London Gazette of 8 November 1945 - "The King has been pleased to grant unrestricted permission for the wearing of the following decorations which have been conferred on the undermentioned personnel in recognition of distinguished services in the cause of the allies".
I find only 17 US decorations to ATS personnel for WWII.

Hi Jeff, I have sent you a PM with her name. We have just done a deal to buy all of her uniforms and caps from service in the FANY, through to wartime service in the ATS and beyond to the WRAC in the 1950's. I will post a new thread once we have them in our possesion. It is really a stunning group.

                  Cheers, Ade and Lez.
