The Men of Strength and Valour exhibit at the Reuben R. Sallows Gallery in Goderich. Featuring military photo's from 1890-1930. They have also got some military artifacts on display to enhance the exhibit. Some of the artifacts were loaned from my personal collection. If your in Goderich you should check it out, runs until Dec. 30th.
The pictures posted were taken before the completion of the set up, the compete exhibit should be set this week.

Hi Patrick,
I have been told he was a local man, Lt. Col.Varko...there is an article in a local newspaper on him which I will be getting this weekend. I will post that article at some point in the next few days.

Thought I would bump this thread as the exhibit has been extended to it's popularity.
I never did the article about Varko, I guess I should see if I can get a back issue of the paper, sounded like an interesting story.
