              Great bars guys!

              Some follow-ups:

              - Ricardo: No worries; All British bars welcome! I was afraid of limiting it and thus limiting submissions. Always a pleasure to see your items.

              - Scott: Yes, I have a large Morgan Dollar collection and some real beautiful toners as well as some bright white examples. We should start a thread... Not sure where here, but GMIC does have a coin/money section... I'll have to coax Leigh out over there I guess. Only will make me drool and spend more, I'm sure.

              - Mark: Excellent collection and much more tastefully displayed than mine, but you already knew that from last week.

              - Garth: What to say...always speechless. I really love that Egypt/India bar with the MID device on the VIC!!

              - Slayer: Great start!

              Best guys!

You guys are killing me with these beautiful bars.

I always wanted a set of WWII stars when I was young and then, as I mentioned to Mark the other day, never collected any. Same with US medals, started to collect when I was a kid and then stopped once I joined the service and really never went back to them.

I think these WWII Stars will have to be revisited.

Here is an unusual Volunteer Force Long Service group and is mounted as worn.
The group comprises of a 1914/15 trio with an Edward VII volunteer long service medal on the end.
The group is named to No 37 A/Cpl . H.W. Robinson of the Worcester Regiment.
On the Volunteer medal it is named No 37 Pte H.W. Robinson 1/V.B. Worcester Regiment.
With the medals came also a Silver Wound Badge.
Having checked the archives the number on the badge matches the Silver wound Badge register showing his entitlement.
It states that he enlisted on the 5.5.08 and the discharge date being 4.5 17.Under Kings Regulations Para 392 XXI, age on discharge being 46 years 6 months.

                    All the best, Gareth
