Can anyone provide me with the country of origin and era of this helmet? It resembles a British helmet, but I'm not so sure. Has a black neck protector, which I've never seen.

Yes, I have one from the fleamarket in Amsterdam, actually made from a WWII British shell, repainted and with new dutch liner and strap.
