    Dispatch Riders coat??

I recently got this in a large lot of WW2 US material. It was described to me as a Canadian WW2 Dispatch Riders Coat. It is dated 1943 and is broad arrow proofed but not in the Canadian way I'm familiar with. Any thoughts welcome. I do not plan to keep it and when I sell it I want to call it the right thing.
    Thanks,
    Garth

            The Rubber-Proofed Coat, Pattern 1942

The Rubber-Proofed Coat, Pattern 1942 for wear by motor-cyclists was made in such a way that the tail could be brought up through the crutch and buttoned over the wearers stomach and around each leg, strong press-studs being provided for this purpose. The coat was introduced in March 1942 to replace the existing motor-cyclists protective clothing, which consisted of rubber-proofed jackets and leggings and which had been found to be unsuitable. The new coat underwent stringent testing under a variety of weather conditions before it was introduced.
The new coat gradually replaced the rubber-proofed jacket and leggings as and when the latter became unserviceable. Both types of clothing were worn within a unit for a time until the new coat became the standard issue garment (ACI 610 dated 21 March 1942).

(From British Army Uniforms and Insignia of World War Two, by Brian L. Davis, Arms & Armour Press).

Thanks guys really appreciate it. Now for the dreaded question, what is a good fair market value?
                Thanks again,
                Garth

I've not seen many for sale, I've seen them going for £50 - £100, Id've thought the lower price would be closer (I gave away the one in the photos I posted a few months ago to a friend with an interest in WWII British & German uniforms).
Could be that they're one of those unattaractive tems that collectors do'nt have a real interest in until suddenly scarcity is more important than appearances.

Agree, a mate bought one a few years back for less than £30-40, nearly mint, to go with his ex 1st armoured div BSA M20.
