    REME Jewellery Badge!!! silver

    Hello Experts,

Found this very neat looking Badge on the Flea Market in Germany today...

It was in a Box with all kind of old Jewellery..like rings and cufflinks etc..

I bought it actually because it has a silver Hallmark on the back and paid VERY little for it..lets say, not even 1EUR

But when I inspected it a little more, I had the feeling it cannot just be a jewellery piece, because of the Crown and the Flash behind the Horse..so I googled the Letters REME that are on the Badge..and viola! It is Army related...but now, my research ended soon with Cap Badges and so on..couldnt really find this piece anywhere..

Can someone help me out here, what this specific Badge was awarded or used for, because it is quite unusal for army stuff with all the bling bling stones.

oddly enough, it really is a nice piece of jewellery work with all the stones in it. On the backside is also a little Ring on one side.
The Horse Eye is a red stone (Ruby?)
and if you hold it under Light or in the Sun..it looks stunning and has the blingbling effect
Pictures do not really justice this Piece, as it looks much nicer in hands..

    Thanks in Advance
    Andreas

The light stones are reffered to as marcasite.
