British Boots?

I got these boots, Im not sure what they are or how old...size is 46 so its European, the soles have markings, 46 and what looks like "MI"

Inside is marked with what looks like 19 MI 40 with a crown over top...

Are these Inf, motorcycle or even military!!??!!

Anyone?

Wrong sort of size markngs for British - a european "46" would be marked as a British size "11" or "11 1/2" or thereabouts.

agree with the last poster. i was in the british military for 13 years and never saw any footwear marked in the continental style. always in uk shoe sizes.
