I recieved this helmet after it was found on a loft. Can someone help me please to identifie this piece.

I should imagine they would have had Wardens and fire guards there during the war so I would say WW2 . Rob

It make more sence if you would read it as "Middlesex City Council" !!

I've seen simmular helmets with L.C.C. (=London City Coucil) in the past...
