British 1943 dated soap dish, value please?

I've picked up a 1943 dated, broad arrow stamped hinged soap dish as part of a collection.

Does anyone have a rough idea of value for one of these please?

No pics as my camera isn't co-operating!

    Regards,
    Andy

Hi Andy, are you sure it is not 1945? Never seen one dated other than 45.

    Cheers, Ade.

On closer inspection it is 1945,it took a few minutes of using a magnifying glass and another opinion to work it out though!

So,what's the value of a 1945 dated example please?

Presumably not worth as much as a 1943 (if one exists!) example.

        Regards,
        Andy

Andy, the soap dishes are made from 1944, these are hard to find, but do exist.

          I sell the 1945 dated ones for 15 euro's.

Dennis i have no idea but is this not too much asked €15 euro for a common '45 dated soap dish?

Has anyone of you saw a soap dish for sale that was dated '44 and if so what was the asking price?????? In all those years that i'm collecting militaria i have never seen a '44 dated soap dish only rumors about their existence no evidence by showing pictures or anything like that!! It would be very nice if someone good show a nice '44 dated soap dish thanks in advance for your help,

Chris, the seller doesn't make the price the buyer does.

I sell them for 15 euro, and that is ok with me.

You could still buy unissued surplus ones dated 1945 with the crows foot from Silvermans when I was in the army (I used it for in the field and on tours); they were aluminium hinged dishes and came wrapped in the original brown wax paper.

In fact mine is probably one of a few that actually saw any ''service'' since they were made in 1945

Some Years ago in Scotland I saw them for 25 Pounds what was 37.50 €
at that time. I still must have some original Boxes of them. I hope my website will work in some weeks so I can sell them there (What means I found them. Not easy with a 4000 Bananaboxes-Storage. Hope to sell 25 of them next week, with Danish, 37 Ptn.-like Equipment. Lot of it is stamped with Brit and Danish markings.)

                          Canadian BD Tunics 1943

Hi folks, Just a question to be right. For how much goes a 1943 BD Tunic today. They're all unused, one has a washy Stamp what's not clearly readable, the others are readable.
Found some small sizes in an originally sealed Canadian Army Box from 1952.
