    WWI Trio value

    Hello Mates,

I had a customer bring in these 3 medals to my shop. I don't do much with UK militaria let alone WW1 UK bits. My good friend who was an expert on this kind of stuff sadly passed away last year.

All these are named to the same guy. Any thoughts as to what the current ballpark value may be?

    Thanks!
    Jerry

sorry for the bad pic it was with my cell phone.

    Hi Jerry,
Can you post the name and Regiment on the rim of the medals? It will make a difference in the value.

sadly that pic didn't turn out, and I didn't think to write down the info.

so assuming he was just a class 2 pastry cook in a non combat bicycle transport regiment

      A ballpark value is fine

With the Long service medal private John Smith ( difficult to research name ) of the Royal Army service corps I would say £80 . Rob

I'd agree with Rob, ASC pair go for around £25, LSGC £50-65. but as he also mentions depends on which Arm/Corps.

"Action this day!", as dear old Winston used to say. Good on ya, yellow.

                  Thanks guys,
I still have to take the chance, but at leat now i have a range to work with on it. I understand how unit/name can affect value. I just had no baseline price to go by. I had never even seen a Long Service medal before.

I will let you know how this one plays out!

                  Thanks again for your help,
                  Jerry
