    British windproof camo trousers

I am in the process of purchasing two sets of these UK windproof camo trousers in used condition
    from a fellow WAF member.
Seller guaranteed these are ww2 but there are no tags present to prove that... but based on the condition they certainly look old!
On the forum I read that these were also post war produced...
and used as late as in the early1980's ...
and even the Belgians made their own version of these post war.

These are for sure British, used and abused. War time?

    Markings...and field repairs...
    Commonwealth Broad Arrow I assume...

    Thoughts? Value?

Arrows pointing at each other indicate a condemed item, no long fit for service.

        Thanks! That's good info...explains the tattered/repaired condition.
        Disposal markings!
Still displayable...so WW2 British is the verdict?

Hi, these are British of WW2 patern but as far as I can say without the label you cannot have any guarantee that they were WW2 period made.

The windproof cammo pattern was made from 1942 until the late 1950s.
Generally the 50s fabric was the heaver weight than the war-time poplin.
However this is not a fast rule but more of a loose guide.
Your pants could be war-time but with out the tags we will never know, but they are the same basic pattern and design.
I like the crows foot print.
I once a a 46 dated Dennison with this printed in a long row inside .
            Nice to see .

As to value , on these used condition windproofs I would say $50 a pair is fair market value ,in better condition with labels everything changes to at least $150 and up.
