What size is this, if larger than normal div it could be off of sports kit, vest, track suit etc, I am thinking the SC could be Sports/Swimming/Shooting Club.

      Lee,
It is about the standard US patch size, approximately 2 1/2" x 2".

Fascinating badge Garth. Its one of those types of badges that despite a very low production run has yet to be understood by badge collectors as a rarity.

I have some track suit badges myself all of them hand made.

          Hi Garth,

The RAC Centre would be at Bovington Camp, Wareham in Dorset.

I was was down there for a course many moons ago; in addition all I can think of is an equestrian connection: as in the ''Saddle Club'' they have down there.

It might even be worth your while in sending the Bovington Tank Museum an e mail request regarding the patch, mate.
