Help on some British insignia :-)

    Hello forum..

I found this stuff today yard saling.

The lady I bought these from... found them at a yard sale several years earlier.

We eventually agreed to $30... but..... I am starting to feel that I perhaps over paid??

Is this stuff from WWII, older, or newer?

    Thanks for the help... Robert

Well you've done better then $30 I would say. British Canadian Kings Crown and officer pip rank insignia WW2 era. The rest not sure about value.

Not too bad at all, the guards pips are worth a good proportion of that.

                      Yours, Guy.

If you wanted you could always find the man who recently posted a Irish Guards BD on forum and is currently looking for some bronze rank pips for it. I see there are two on that card. I bet he would refund all your money on those two alone.

the crossed flags are an Australian ww2 signal Instructors qualification sleeve badge, unfortunately they are very common and only worth a couple of bucks, also the crown in the wreath is a warrant officer class 2 (company quarter master sergeant) rank badge from the same era, not sure what the rest are worth but all up I think you got a fair deal
