    Hello all,

This is my little brother's and he would like any information on it, but we think it is a WWI shell carrier. Please let me know what you think!

        Hi,

it's a German -or Swiss- shell carrier and I think it's postwar.

          Hello again,

Well that's a start, but post-war from which war?

Postwar means it is dated after the second WW

I have to correct myself : it's 100% sure Swiss, see the stamped "geneva"type crosses on the inside and outside of the tubes.

The wicker basket and the other tubes could range in date from the late 1930's to 1970's, see date code below the stamped geneva cross.

The marked lid on the right looks like a replacement lid (compaired to the other ones) and should show you a date, it looks 1960's or even 1970's to me.
