Para beret + badge opinion

    It has features of a WWII to early post-war beret. The wet test could tell us more; a WD stamp would be grand.

    Apart from that, I do not believe that the Belgians wore this cap badge. At best it was a sort of war trophy.

      Hello Fsoq,

      Belgian parachutists would have worn either the Belgian Lion cap badge (while still members of the Belgian Independent Parachute Company) or a cloth SAS cap badge (when they were incorporated into the SAS Brigade) so I very much doubt your beret belonged to a Belgian veteran.

        PS: I actually dont think the vet wore the beret. As Lus stated, it is more a trophy.
