A nicely done copy. They're not uncommon and a sterling silver Star would set you back $150.00, so not worth a huge amount but a very pretty piece!

Depending on the size it may be a Coldstream Guards blazer pocket badge.

It measures 75mm x 80mm. Thats to the tips of the embroidery.

I picked mine up on Ebay/UK, if I recall. If you view the militaria section there, you will get an idea of prices. I would guess perhaps 15-20 pounds if new, or in new condition.
