    Australian Proficiency Badges.

    Hi,
picked these up today. One of the badges is maker marked to Luke Melbourne. I think the larger two are proficiency badges of some sort. Is this correct. If so what era would they be. Any information appreciated. Okay since posting this I have discovered the pair are Machine Gunners Qualification Badges,of the other two one is a Chaplains collar badge and the other an Artillery Corps collar badge. My only query know is are they original issue or reproductions?
    thanks Robert

The chaplains collar is indeed original. I would put it around WWII, the British adopted a new cap and collar badge in 1930 but I believe the Australians kept their old pattern for some period.
