Small tribute to my late grandfather in law who served in the 3rd regiment genietroepen and was a member of the searchlight section served on the Grebbenlinie during the attack on Holland in 1940.

After the war he was traumatized and did not talk about the war at all. In 1995 after I did a tour in Bosnia he started to talk about the war and all he has been seening. After the war he has refused a medal and after a lot of letters and phone calls to the dept of defense he got his medal he deserved in 1998.
